We are PowerFuel Damas, the first social enterprise for profit that has a Global Marketing Agency as its first division, followed by our International Community to empower women as our second division. Our business is based on supporting United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Number 5—gender equality.
We promote gender equality by creating inclusive jobs, making significant profit, and delivering positive social impact and women’s empowerment with our community, clients, & partners. Our teams are based in San Diego, California, São Paulo, Brazil, and San José, Costa Rica.

Advocating for Global Gender Equality as a UN-Recognized Entity
We are excited and honored to share that PowerFuel Damas Social Enterprise has been officially recognized by UN Women and the UN Global Compact as a responsible stakeholder in fostering gender equality and women’s empowerment. As a Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) signatory, we are proud to align with international labor and human rights standards, acknowledging our responsibility in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The WEPs, a joint initiative of UN Global Compact and United Nations Women, were developed in 2010 to provide a holistic framework to empower women and girls in the workplace, marketplace, and community. They serve as a primary vehicle for corporate delivery on gender equality dimensions of the 2030 agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As we embark on this journey, we look forward to working collaboratively within multi stakeholder networks and adopting business practices that empower women.
